MAINTENANCE #1- 3 NOVEMBER 2001 - So on Thursday 1 November 2001 I helped
by buddy Sean Cullinane move. Everything was just fine in the truck.
However, when I left for work the next day I noticed that the brake pedal
was sinking lower and lower and it was getting harder to stop the truck.
This morning I checked the brake fluid level and it was <GASP> empty.
So I filled it back up with some DOT #3 (of course, my original '66
Chevrolet Truck Owner's Guide says to use G.M. Supreme No. 11 Hydraulic
Brake Fluid, but I didn't exactly have any of that laying around my
garage).
Once I refilled the fluid, I took B'Ellana
for
a spin around the block and she stopped just fine.
